Not to me. I think it means a man is unafraid to be who he is. It means he knows there is value in the relaxation knitting provides (studies have proven it is good for you), and it means he has very dextrous hands. Why would any of those things be a turn off? Of course, whether or not I think it is a turn off does not matter, since I do not know the guy. What do you think?
