Question
yeah, now they all want to cash in on the hooters lawsuit. I have been to tilted kilt and some of the girls are a little too fat to have their tummies exposed. I would probably fire them unless they shaped up pronto. So I can only assume that this girl (Jen) must have been way too fat to be acceptable. I dont mean as much as 160lbs fat either. If you are applying for a waitress job in either tilted Kilt or Hooters etc. and you are around 140 lbs at 5 ft 7. Then you probably need to try somewhere else instead of grossing us guys out with your fat tummies and large tighs at our table. Do you really think you can compete with all those cute chicks with the flat tummies and shapely bottoms? You bitches need to ditch the twinkies and grab an apple will ya.

Response

Well, from a legal perspective, if the size requirements were NOT made a part of the hiring/interview process, then he does not have grounds to tell her this. I understand that this place makes their business off showcasing the female body. But if the size and shape requirements were not clearly delineated up front, then he is in trouble. If it WAS made clear during the hiring process, then she needs to get to work and shape up.

What you deem *way too fat* others may not see that way. 140lbs at 5ft7 is slightly underweight. The idea is not to compete with other women, the idea is to make a living by bussing tables. She obviously met with his standards at hiring time, so what is the magic number that gets you out of a job? 5 lbs? 6lbs? Certainly there is a standard for this place. The question is whether or not it is defined in a legal sense, or if it is just determined by this man s opinion.

If the sight of a person makes you *grossed out* then I suggest you learn a bit more about what life is about. Your eyes are too sensitive.
