Thanks for the response. My eye is fine now but it did take a few days for the headache to go away. The reason this bothered me so much is that a friend of my cousin (and I knew this guy) got burned to cinders in his house last year when he fell asleep in bed while very drunk with a lit cigarette in his hand. I do not smoke but I can clearly that I could still have set the house on fire with being so impaired and passing out on the couch. I plan on being more responsible after this.

Jim, I again ask when are you going to get some help for your problematic binge drinking? A hangover should not take days to get over. This should bother you a great deal. I suggest you look online for a self assessment tool to convince you that you have an alcohol problem, and to seek help.
Let me know what you find out.
